Never have I thought works or observing holy days would save me. Those things are just the fruits of salvation. Observing Sabbath is keeping the commandments, well one of them anyway.
Thanks for keeping a good discussion on the Sabbath. Like yourself, I was not always a Sabbath-keeper, until I studied history, and became more able to discern tradition from scripture. But since I have been keeping the Sabbath, I find I am double blessed and that it is my favorite day of the week. Most of my friends are Sunday keepers and because I live in a rural area, there are not a lot of church choices. I go to a little Sunday church, but for the fellowship. My Sabbath will always be Saturday. Did you know that the spanish language has no word for Saturday? They say Sabado (Sabbath).
