When I talk to Jehovah’s Witnesses, I always go to John 1:1.
They always say “was a god, not “was God.”
They wrote their own bible the, New World Translation, so it is difficult to talk scripture with them. You may be using the same words, but they will have different definitions. The Mormons are the same way.
