POLITICO has run a piece citing various claims that President Obama is a practicing Christian of some sort. Nice try. But the article is entirely unconvincing.
Obama isnt prevented from going to a Christian church and doesnt cite security reasons for not attending. Instead, he worries that his presence detracts from other worshippers experience, the publication said. We are told he reads scripture and prays in private.
In 2008, when he first ran for president, the Obama campaign insisted he was a committed Christian. Glenn Greenwald, who later became NSA defector Edward Snowdens mouthpiece, found Obamas claim so alarming that he wrote an article for Salon about it. Greenwald, whose anti-American outlook includes Muslim sympathies, was apparently deeply concerned that Obama could, in fact, be a committed Christian.
We now understand that Obamas Christian claim was as phony as his promise, If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.
POLITICO reports that Obama has attended Sunday services only occasionally, visiting a patchwork of congregations 19 times in all since taking office, according to a POLITICO analysis of White House pool reports. Further down in the story we learn that In all, Obama has gone to services on about 6 percent of the Sundays of his presidency and just once on Christmas Day, in 2011, which also happened to be a Sunday.(continued)

You always have to look at what they DON’T say. “Scripture” instead of Bible. He reads scripture from the Koran.
I don’t think counting the number of times a President goes to church is indicative of anything. If I recall correctly Reagan rarely went to church while in office and Clinton went almost every Sunday. Which one do you believe had a relationship with Christ?

He prays to HIMSELF!
The presence of the embodiment of evil in church would not detract from my “worship experience”, but it would certainly focus my mind differently. Church is occasionally more of a social experience than a religious one, but having Obama there would help me to pay attention to God’s word and to the reality of evil.
Although I agree in part with your statement, the Bible does command us to seek the fellowship of other believers. Reagan did not state that “I’ve always been a Christian” despite the evidence that he was raised from a young age as a member of another religion. Also, Reagan lived his faith as shown by the guiding principles of his life and his genuine love for his fellow man.
Do you guys still get free deep-dish pizza or did Mr. Soros put a nix to that after the win in 2008? How about complimentary Red Bull and Mountain Dew?
Gone to church 19 times in six years?
How many trips to the golf course?
We are what we DO, not what we SAY we are.
This clown loves the muslim terrorists and hates Israel.
If he’s a Christian, Joan of Arc played 2nd base for the Cleveland Indians.
” I was too lazy to work in what you just pointed out and that many of us see, his clear indifference to Christianity, he doesnt care, and is clearly not interested in it, or even in learning how to fake it, he just utters words of the general tone, and figures that is close enough.
Something that Obama has always revealed, is the confidence of a truly and deeply ignorant, but bright person, a modern phenomena, that we see in the under 40 year olds mostly.
They think that no one knows much, so they speak as experts on various topics, and confidently, even proudly, spew gibberish, thinking that they are dazzling everyone and impressing them, they think that all knowledgeable people are faking it as well, that lifes arguments are not about real facts, but are about delivery and the most appealing, made up facts, winning on style.”
WELL put!!! This is the way our society is going. I feel completely surrounded by folks like this, but you absolutely NAILED obama here.
He used the phrase “my Muslim faith”; wasn’t it clear back then?
Muslims believe that there is no God but Allah.
Obama believes that there is no God but himself.
I understood some of those words but you are going to have to help me out with the rest.
