There are some on this thread who follow Sola Scripture, and there are others who follow scripture and oral tradition. Let us set aside those differences for just a moment and together focus on God’s love for all of us.

That's a nice sentiment, but that's not the topic of the thread. So let me ask the question again, worded a little differently:

Does Msgr. Charles Pope, of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, believe that God’s Old Testament Law is comprised entirely of written scripture, or is comprised in part of written scripture and part of oral tradition?

A: I will leave it for you to ponder what Msgr. Pope’s beliefs are concerning God’s Old Testament Law. For myself, I will reflect on how keeping God’s law can lead us into a closer walk with God and a greater experience of His love for us.
