Perhaps you've failed to consider the fact that a lack of "moral fortitude" is not necessarily behind the priest's choice to remain anonymous.

I am willing to bet that there are a lot more of these “anonymous” priests. I’m guessing it will only be a matter of time before they are no longer “anonymous”.
