I think about this all the time.. people saying "she is in a better place"
" MOM would not want to live like this"...and so on.. and chances are they are burning in hell because they never understood the holiness of God and the sinfulness of men

I think it is a way of comforting themselves after the loss of a loved one. To allow your mind to envision your mom, dad, whoever suffering in hell would be so terrible that you could not function in life.

It is interesting isn’t it? Many deny Christ or ignore Him all their life then claim heaven and bliss when one of their loved ones dies. It breaks my heart when I know someone has died without having dedicated their lives to Christ.
