That’s for communion. Keep up the hyper stereo types. I do not have anything to do with your other nonsense.

"I was struck by the symbolism of that altar picture .An ark of the covenant for a tabernacle right under a crucifix. If most RCs didnt believe the ark was a type of Mary it would not have struck me as it did. Putting their christ crackers in his mother for safe keeping...just spooky"
Bearing fall witness with these comments. "Christ crackers" . You are christian acting with this slang? Wow!!!

It is amazing.......What is even more amazing how we react when we say we are christians by taunting with slang words? I have christian friends who have different views but never call communion......... “Christ Crackers” ..... Something is very wrong with this name calling. The heart of the matter is the unchristian manner of it then you can look in the mirror and think you did a good thing? Yikes. Hello. Bearing false witness. Just astonishing.

A spirit of mocking that I have seen is not of God without a doubt. Just sad.

"The Ten Commandments were also placed in the ark. This showed that the moral law of God would forever stand before the presence of God. Jesus kept the law perfectly to the benefit of all His people, the only one to stand blameless before the presence of God." The author apparently believes the sabbath of the Lord is a moral law of God and will forever stand...hmmm... :-)

You forgot context... Jesus was quoted in teaching many things in that passage, and it certainly wasn't a corporate event. Each attendee was the target, not some off-the-wall .
10"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Nobody is persecuting you. They are making fun of all the extra-and non-Scriptural accoutrements that the Roman Catholic cult has assembled to keep the membership in control. In my quote of the previous passage and the reading of the subsequent portion, we see that it all about how an individual sees God's plan of Salvation. He never promised us a wheat cracker as a means of our salvation. He told them that if they wanted to live by the law, they better keep it all!
But, I guess it feels good to complain!
You will know persecution when ISIS shows up somewhere.

No, Jesus is not the Ark. Jesus is the Word of God. The Word of God was placed in the ark. Jesus is *in* the Ark. Just as the Word of God was in the Ark of the Covenant, Jesus was in Mary’s womb. The tabernacles that hold Jesus in Catholic Churches are not Mary. When speaking of Mary as the Ark, Catholics refer to Christ in her womb.

The Tabernacle held the Shekina glory, not the Incarnation, the spirit not the physical body.
So Jesus is properly the *ark* if anyone is because His body is holding the Son, the glory of the Father.

Nor is there ANY reference in Scripture to Mary being the ark.
That *typology* was developed by man, not inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Fascinating and stunning to see ! Yet I do believe most catholics haven't a clue about what things mean or why they practice what they do. It's sufficient for them it's catholic and that makes it ok by them.,I think you are right about most RC's not knowing much ...
