Plants & animals don't marry because the Supreme Court hasn't heard their case yet, but seriously we were created as higher beings than them.
Now if you have any scriptures that state these things differently, I'd like to hear them.

So? When we at war, all our soldiers are male too (at least until recently)... In the perspective of those on the battlefield, they could assume there are no American women... But of course, their assumptions are limited by their perspective.
The book of Mark also records Jesus saying that there is no marriage in Heaven.
And I agree. That does not mean they do not procreate. That means they don't marry...
