I became a lot more religious today. Movie and TV does not do justice about flash floods being in a vehicle.

It got dark a couple of times.5 hours rescued.

Still shaking, really rattled, and some tears.

Tacoma is an aquarium now.

We have flood on house and some kind of comprehensive. Insurance agent working on it. Thinks things will be OK.

House is fine. Incident occurred a mile away. Felt like the far side of the moon.

Finally liberated by FD and DNR.

As bad as I feel, seeing news, see tons of total loss all around Columbia.

My wife did a top notch job the whole time. I kept cell comms with her whole time. So many incidents out there.

Bridges washed out on my road, might as well be on an island.

I go unlock church and get turned around about half way.

Lot of suburb roads and missed a turn and got on one further down. Tried to get swung back around and got caught.

Holy Spirit we completely welcome you into this catastrophe to touch and rescue all that need a miracle right now in Jesus name bringing hope life and salvation through all that is happening and we declare Jesus is Lord and God far above our circumstances and able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ever ask or desire ! Praise you Lord Jesus and thank you for the Victory in this flood !

I was one.

Lutheran since I married my fantastic wife.

Still shaken, mentally whacked.

I will never forget this. Sure there will be nightmares for a while.

When the water works calm down, LEO will get a hold of me when they can get to the truck. A day or two minimum. It’s in a nice residential neighborhood. A couple of doctors live houses.

One graciously let me dry out, some spare clothes, hot tea and some pasta. Found out from talking to his wife, a few homes of people they know are flooded.

Seeing the local news makes my loss seem minor. Houses, businesses, big semis all underwater.

Spoken to both pastors a little while ago. I think I maxxed out a lot of prayer credits from tons of good people.
