Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord: Thus saith the Lord God; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession: Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people: Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about; Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.(Ezekiel 36:1-5)

Ezekiel 35 and 36a are twin passages. One (35) speaks to the usurpers who would presume against God’s will to make a nation for themselves out of the Land God gave to Abraham Isaac and Jacob. The other(36a) is directed to the region itself, ‘the mountains of Israel’, i.e. Judea and Samaria, but which the World(the U.N.) designates as the ‘West Bank” or “occupied Territories’.

The Mountains of Israel are the very heart of Biblical Israel, and contain the cities of Hebron, Shechem, Bethlehem and Jerusalem among other places rich in significance to Jewish history. Now these cities are given over by the U.N., to the “Palestinians” as though they were “Palestinian” all along.

Truly this land has been “taken up upon the lips of talkers”, for the U.N. spends about a third of its time, discussing, debating, condemning, censuring and isolating Israel, Jerusalem, and the ‘West Bank”.The World Congress of Nations would presume to decree the status of Jerusalem(A Divided,International city, and not the Capitol of Israel), the borders of Israel(Pre 1967) and the population and status of the Mountains of Israel.

The World community has its own plan for the “Mountains of Israel” but it directly contradicts God’s plan, therefore bringing the world into conflict with God himself. The west bank of the Jordan river and the ancient Philistine coastal area known as Gaza have been designated the “Palestinian State” by the Gentile powers that be.

Notice that God says, that the Heathen along with Edom, have “appointed my land into their possession”. This is a very important point. According to Leviticus, the Holy Land is not Israel’s it is God’s land. Israel cannot truly negotiate away portions of it, because it is not theirs to do so. For this cause the Land could never permanently be sold,

The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.(Leviticus 25:23)

The nations of the world despise the Jewish settlers who have come back to settle in the mountains of Israel, calling for a “no natural growth” cap on Jewish population in the West Bank, and considering the settlers, interlopers and invaders.

Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen: Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.(Ezekiel 36:6-7)

The shame that the nations have heaped upon these brave Jewish settlers, will be returned upon those very nations which have hated them for doing so. The land was ruined, because in the long years of exile, the Turks placed a tax on trees, which caused what few Arab tenants and absentee landlords of the land to simply cut down virtually every tree, turning the mountains of Israel into an arid desert.

But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come. For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown: And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded: And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. (Ezekiel 36:8-11)

The Settlers , the rightful tenants of the Land, are coming back and under their stewardship, a miracle is occurring, the Desert now blossoms and blooms, exporting fruit and produce to the whole world! God has a plan for the ‘disputed territory”, to make it fruitful and beneficial under the tillage of his returned people.

The so called “Two State solution” is doomed to favor, for though it is esteemed of men, it has already been cursed by God. It is one of the many “Vain Imaginations” being peddled by our benighted “Kings of the Earth and their rulers”.There will be no Palestinian State, God has spoken that the Mountains of Israel will teem with Jews, who will rebuild the ancient cities and continue to bless many by making the desert bloom.

Seems like we never know how prophecy is going to be fulfilled until after the fact.

We just don’t really know what it’s going to look like.
