You cannot be a “Gay” Christian.
These are nothing but heretic, unrepentant, unsaved sinners falsely bringing up the need for Repentence.
The whole “cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.” admonition from the Bible comes to mind.

They are not treated as "second class citizens." They are treated as particularly egregious sinners. We're all sinners, but they particularly need to be reminded of their status. Otherwise they won't repent. Trying to keep them out of Hell is an act of love.
