I will watch later, thanks. Unfortunately, the priest who says our Latin Mass couldn’t make it to town today for the Easter service :(
Happy Easter, Steve! If you were in these parts, I’d offer you a Spanish Easter Mass and a nice steak dinner!
Probably a third of the Masses in this general area are en Español, but I don't attend Mass given in the vernacular out of personal preference. I would understand bits and pieces of the Spanish, short phrases like the counterpart for ITE, missa est (if that dismissal is used on Easter -- I forget), but not longer sentences like in the Homily.
It is always a problem for us on Easter because these traveling priests are busy at their home parishes and can't make the trip. Happens on the rare Christmas-on-a-Sunday as well. The two Sunday-Holydays you really don't want to miss.
Sorry for the mistakes in this - I am struggling typing angle brackets on the Android and battling the spelling correcteur.
Well, I hope you feel like dinner tomorrow. We have plenty of steak leftovers!
MCed Mozart’s Missa Brevis this morning. Twice.
Back 30 years ago, when this film was first transferred to VHS, it was presented to a well-known Monsignor in Wahington, D.C.
He said: “We can put this on TV! The ‘Mass for Shut-Outs’!”
Beautiful video! Thank you!
We took a train to Latin Mass yesterday.
