Im seriously considering the Wesleyan or a Lutheran Missouri Synod church.I went from UMC to LCMS 27 years ago, have never looked back. OTOH, as an LCMS I taught at a Wesleyan college for over a decade, and the few doctrinal differences weren't enough to make either the college or me uncomfortable. Whichever one you find God more closely, go there.

I am thinking of the Orthodox Church. I am impressed by their martyrs in the middle east and by their adherence to male leadership. My problem is that the nearest is about to 1.5 hours away. The same with LCMS. Francis makes me fear the Catholics will soon be combating all that my Methodists are combating. The other churches in my area are more or less independent, fundamental charisma/holiness/baptistic/cambellite family churches.
I'm a bit puzzled at this point.
