Discouraging or encouraging, it is the will of the Holy Spirit that is always at work. I've had to surrender to this many times. This realization has produced moments of grace and almost divine understanding, and moment of great confusion. How can the overwhelming WILL of GOD result in the election of such a totally EVIL, opportunistic and conniving person? What the heck is going on?

The contemplation of this has led me to a new level of sorrow and depression.
