Odd isn’t it, that removing the gospel removes people.
So, there are no Christians in the American Legion who could witness for Christ?
Predictable - when one’s members are of the mind that other people’s money belongs to them, they are not likely to be giving it up for any cause....they think the church exists to take care of their shortcomings in the physical world.
How in the world could you get that from what Arthurus said?
He said: "Being a member of the American Legion doesn't accomplish the salvation of one's soul.
He indicated that Salvation was not to be found at an American Legion. That could only be true if there were no Christians in attendance there, which I know is not the case. If Christians are true to their Faith, they will Evangelize at every opportunity. Any gathering of people is a potential source of bringing people to Christ.
On the flip side, I have been treated poorly within the walls of a church.
The Holy Spirit can do his Duty anytime, anywhere. There are no exclusion zones.
He indicated no such thing - he said attending the American doesn't automatically save your soul. And he's right.
I follows quite easily from his statement using mere inference.
