Interesting. Sounds like Trump's plan to repeal the Johnson Amendment, if accomplished, will nullify part of the author's argument about all churches being under the Catholic church and the temporal powers.
I just found that article while out looking for clues and am still working through it and several other things at the same time trying to figure out if or how they all fit together.

I've been reading True Life In God for a few years now and, as a reader, I read it as though it is exactly what it says it is.
As such, it's been transformative, and my curiosity and I have enjoyed it very much.
