So you disregard Acts 2:38? Do you not believe that Jesus Christ told the apostles to teach that? If so, what else do you believe is not accurate?
Acts 2:38 is the initial time, AFTER the ascension of the Lord, that a command for conversion is given; and was the first fulfillment of the commands for conversion, given by the Lord himself:
Matthew 28:19,20
Mark 16:15,16
Luke 22:32 (included because it points to the future conversion of Peter)
Luke 24:46-49
John 3:3,5-8
John 20:20-23
All of those lead to Acts chapter 2.
If you claim to obey his call to “follow thou me”, which of the verse references just mentioned are not for conversion, in your opinion ?
