But you are!
You may be loudly protesting, but you’re still “Catholic” if you call yourself “Christian.”
Constantine’s bishop, Eusebius, invented both the term christian, and its doctrines, in the mid 4th century.
They ‘own’ it.

Constantine's bishop Eusebius of Nicomedia--- the one who baptized him on his deathbed --- was of the Arian persuasion, and was the man largely responsible for gaining the acceptance of Arianism in the Constantinian imperial circle. Which is to say, he was not of the Catholic faith.
To claim that Eusebius "invented" the doctrines of the Catholic Church shows lamentable ignorance. It is exactly, precisely wrong.

Constantines bishop, Eusebius, invented both the term christian, and its doctrines, in the mid 4th century. Wrong again.
Acts 11:25-26 So Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians.
