According to the BIBLE Mary was betrothed to Joseph thus vowed to be his, THEN the Angel appeared to her and she consented to surrogacy of ‘the holy thing’. Gestating a child is a physical behavior. BUT, consenting to surrogacy does not take from Mary a sex cell pledged to Joseph. Catholiciism insists that God took a sex cell from mary to make Jesus’s body and behavior mechanism.
