No, it’s not all that unusual. Unitarian Universalists went off the rails long ago. I’ve never met one who wasn’t some sort of earth faerie or some other iteration of pagan fantasy. What little vestige of Christianity is left is just there for decoration.

The UUC is probably a “Non-Demominational Church”, meaning they only loosely ascribe to christian principals and then by their own interpretation. Sort of a pray-as you-go situation. This is a useful tactic to take a generic title and give it to a group of Social Activists.

That is because you won’t find Christ in their church. Salvation isn’t really mentioned:

There are clues about identifying a real Church. What to look for in a false church are mostly manifesting as: Pro-Homosexual, female preachers, pro-social justice, Yoga/Mediation/Labyrinth Path, pro-abortion, a website devoid of scripture and lacks mentioning what/how to obtain salvation. Their site has all of the above mentioned....
