Not necessarily. According to the Protestant effort beaming into the Arab world, people are converting in droves. We just don't hear about it on the nightly fakenews channels.

In fact, there are so many people defecting from muslimism in either Iran or Iraq, that they have been told by authorities to just be quiet about it. I guess they don't have room in prison for all the people converting.
