They post stuff like this all the time, no matter what church the abuse happens in.
I’m not sure why one needs a godly response to abuse “in a Christian environment”. Shouldn’t we have the same response regardless of the environment?
I suppose it sounds noble.
Yet the potential for sexual abuse is actually exacerbated by the core identity of fundamentalist groups like ABWE. Like Catholics, fundamentalists preach strict obedience to religious authority. Sex is not only prohibited outside of marriage, but rarely discussed.
Meaning if cared for like in the school environment this abuse/harm would not occur.
