There is no new revelation as is claimed by Mormonism.

Rev 11
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Two real prophets, that have stood in the presence of God, killed in streets of Jerusalem just before the second coming. They will prophesy for a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

And that's just the official leaders of the Church fulfilling their roles to mankind. That doesn't even cover the personal revelation given to individuals by God through the Holy Ghost.

Not to mention your statement would take a "new" revelation to claim there are no new revelations, because God has never said that. As a matter of fact He said just the opposite.

Paul warned that this would happen, it's a sign of the last days. 2 Tim 3.

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

They act godly but they deny the power of God. How can someone act godly but at the same time deny the power of God? Easy, "God doesn't speak to man today." "The heavens are shut, no new revelation." "There are no prophets."

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

They try to understand the things of God with their own understanding. They rely on their Bibles for all their information with out ever going to the source. And they never get to the actual truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

Perfect analogy. Just like the priests in Pharaoh's court refused to accept the prophet, these people in the last days will do the same. They will reject the prophet of their time just like Jannes and Jambres did. This is why Jesus said only a few would actually be saved. You can't reject the prophet without also rejecting the God who sent him. That's the eternal law, there's no getting around it.

Mormonism is rejected as it denies Who Christ is.
