I have read that because of its steep membership decline, the Church of England will cease to exist in about twenty years. On the one hand, that is a huge tragedy and catastrophe. From British Christianty came the Book of Common Prayer, the King James Bible, great hymnody and architecture, Cranmer, Wesley, and Newman. On the other hand, what real Christian, or person wanting to be a real Christian, would want to be a part of it anymore?
