Well, I have to agree that it doesn’t have quite the same oomph as a Harry Potter thread.
You are obviously not an actual Christian.
Sad. For you.
Actually I think people should stop saying the days of the week! You are calling on pagan gods when you say them!
.
Yoga is not “stretching exercises!”
Yoga is Transcendental meditation through physical contortion.
.
My goodness. I had no idea that The Lord had been replaced by you.
Yogic flying.
An excellent point!
I do yoga cuz I feel good, it's good for me, and it gets me off the couch..
If that's evil, give me more..
At least it’s not a Clown Mass.
My goodness, if you are a Christian you wouldn’t be cavalier about this obvious supernatural and spiritual issue.
Is that when BooBoo or Ranger Smith by Yogi take Yogi to Hawaii?
Well, there’s only one way to find out.
Do yoga practitioners weigh as much as a duck?
By that logic a Church should allow its sanctuary and fellowship hall to be used for LGBT events and Planned Parenthood meetings.
What is the Yoga philosophy? Does that belong in God’s house?
I’m aware of that.
But the TM people reel folks in with stretching exercises.
And many folks do resist being brought onto the boat ... but that’s where we get back to the idea of a cesspool I’d mentioned. The culture doesn’t SEEM like filth so much of the time and the demarcation point between where it’s just on the toes and you’ll plunge over your head is hidden beneath muck that is made out to be harmless.
For comparison: Star Wars is also awash in doctrines like TM ... looks glamorous and entertaining ... but can be still thought of as a floater on the surface of the cesspool.
Yoga? No because it is basically an entry level to eastern mysticism.
Other stuff I have no problem with. A church is a building, not some sort of sacred ground.
Many churches meet in a room that can be quickly transformed into a gym.
our church has a separate gym. The area where we meet for church meetings is called the auditorium, not the sanctuary or something implying special room.
Last night, I had 60-70 boys and their parents in there for a Trail Life USA meeting. We even led them in a song about swallowing a worm and regurgitating it.
I do yoga at the club when I'm not playing racquetball or lifting weights. Makes me feel great
There is no religion in yoga
This is the only Yogi I pay any attention to!
Would it be ok to hold church in a yoga studio?
