Pope Francis' "Poor" Get Him Into Troubles

Some days ago, Vatican police ejected the homeless, who had established themselves underneath the Colonnades of Saint Peter with the explicit permission of Pope Francis, who provided them with showers, toilettes and even a special barbershop.

According to Italian media reports the homeless were surprised when the police woke them up around 6.00 a.m. and moved them out. They had been living there for months.

Italian media explain this turnaround of Pope Francis with a video showing a homeless urinating and defecating underneath the Colonnades in broad daylight. The video went viral and caused considerable scandal.

However, the media explains, that this has been going on for months under the eyes of the Vatican.

Keeping poor people in dependency is not the compassionate nor Christian thing to do.

I’m growing sick of the church and this Pope. He has the nerve turning the Vatican into a homeless shelter.

Very true. But it does make liberals feel better. And that’s all that really matters these days.

This is so true. It is actually an evil thing to do, which makes this Frankie the Poop move an unsurprising one.

Popey-dope - are you willing to provide for the complete upkeep of the homeless? Money, lodging, barbershop, food, phone? Obviously not, idiot pope! It’s not possible for the WORKING people to maintain those who don’t work. That’s called communism, and it doesn’t work, idiot!

You think you can maintain a few. You soon find out that the few multiplies into millions, all because you are willing to give them things. You, popey-dope, should know that human nature is the reason why this won’t work. The human condition is to work, idiot. Remember that thing: “By the sweat of your brow will you have food to eat until you return to the ground from which you were made”? or did you even read the book, dummy?

We can help the elderly and the disabled. Anybody else, work or shut up.

They’re probably all mental cases - I should know, I live in NYC where they are all camped out. They belong in institutions.

For real, MM. Us oldies remember when they actually did institutionalize the truly mentally ill. Some really needed a roof over their head, clothes on their backs, and food in their tummies. But too often, mean and corrupt gov’t workers did abuse some of them. That was awful. The Libs answer to this was to close down the institutions, which led to the current mess. Idiots. Now no one is getting the help they need.

If we were a deeply religious and moral people, we would have kept them open, fixed the problem, and continued to care for the truly needy OFF the streets!

Libs have really messed this country up in every way.

They belong in institutions.

So do most Jesuits, including Martin and Francis.

Oh, yes! Think of the movie Titucut Follies.

Even in the 19th century, when we were a more religious people, the insane asylums were hideous. Sad.
