It should be celebrated as the last Sunday of the church year in November. All of us good Lutherans know that the last Sunday in October is reformation Sunday (ducking for cover).
A blessed and good evening to all my christian brethren everywhere.
My Dad’s side is Lutheran back to the driving of the last Catholic out of Norway. Perhaps now that we are all Ecumenical, it can be added to the Roman Calendar, as you suggest—and while we’re at it, why not add a feast to celebrate the seduction of Bathsheba.
The feast for the seduction would be from the ELCA )Missouri synod and Lutheran Church in mission for Christ here). If it were the feast of the seduction of a male...we will leave that to the Episcopalians or Presbyterians. I love your response. Erudite and well spoken. You are ok by me.
