I like it both ways. Our Extraordinary Form is Last Sunday of the month, so we always have Christ the King in October, and get a crack at it again in November.

There is logic to having it in October, but having it on the last Sunday of the liturgical year was the only brilliant move I can see in the new calendar. It brings things to a rousing conclusion while simultaneously preparing the way to launch into advent. The article may say this, but in keeping with FR tradition, I’ll comment before reading it—and read it on Rorate.

Are both feast days celebrated in the extrordinary form on seperate days?
