Luther was no more insane than any other over-ruminating, god-bothering religious zealot of his time. Thinking of oneself as a bag of maggots is unhealthy, but in a culture of self-flagellating, manipulative ersatz holiness, he was just barely unusual.

Why aren’t you loving your enemies?

You could say that Dr. Luther was mistaken, or that he was wrong, or various other things to show that you believe that Catholicism is correct.

Instead you whine endlessly about the man being ‘evil’ even though you’ve never read his words or his reasoning, or even explain why you mean it other than regurgitated and out-of-context talking points.

I find it hard to believe that’s anything but hatred and willful ignorance.

1 John 3:15 anyone?

I have read the heretic's words and that's why I reject his revolt.

Bullshit.

But I’ll give you a chance. Prove it. Give me three quotes from the Large Catechism that you can’t find on an anti-Luther website, and tell me what they mean that makes the man so evil.

Bullshit.

Are you now emulating Luther with his fascination of the above?

Give me the quotes or prove that you’re full of lies.

Give me the quotes that prove you read Luther or admit that you lied to me.

Give me the quotes that prove you read Luther and not just cherry-picked sentences.

I've been giving quotes all today and also all this past week.

Direct quotes from Luther.

Then link me.

Oh, and I believe I asked for quotes that AREN’T cherry-picked from Catholic propaganda sites. You know, IN context.

You’re REALLY not giving any credence to your claim that you’ve read Luther.

I mean, if I cherry picked your posts, I could ‘prove’ that you worship the devil. But I’m not going to do that because it would be lying and deception.

So come on, give me some quotes that aren’t Catholic talking points.

Come on buddy. The guy’s written entire library shelves full of work. If he’s as evil as you claim he is, you should be able to come up with more than just half a page of out-of-context quotes. Give me something big! Come on, pull something nasty out of the Large Catechism! His commentary on Galatians!

Or, you know, admit that you HAVEN’T read any Luther other than Catholic talking points.

“Luther was a glutton, anti Semitic, dogmatic and vindictive“

So basically he was a Catholic.

I've provided numerous links, with quotes of Luther in full context.

I'm not about to spoon feed you.

No. You haven’t.

You have not provided a single Luther quote to me.

Not a single one.

Not even a word.

Your refusal to prove yourself instead leads me to believe that you haven’t read Luther at all, and you hate him without knowing him.

You want to prove different, Mr. Schismatic?

Why should I reread the writings of a heretic just for your pleasure?

Have you read the Council of Trent?
