Martin Luther nailed (and mailed) his 95 Theses on October 31, 1517. But Philip Melanchthon did not arrive at Wittenberg to become a new professor of Greek until August 20, 1518, at ten o clock in the morning, according to a handwritten comment by Luthers secretary Georg Rörer.
And neither Luther nor Melanchton were at the foot of the Cross at Christ's Crucifixion. Such vanity!
