Considering what happened today in NYC, there are Catholics here who are still fighting what took place 500 years ago. Good grief.

Unless the stamp is a wanted poster then the Catholic church has lost its mind. I’m not Catholic but I appreciate the work of people like John Paul II and most of my Catholic conservative friends and their priests.

I certainly wouldn’t buy it and I doubt that any Catholic would.

Really? I haven't heard anything from Francis or the Vatican today about NYC. But I guess issuing a Luther stamp was his work of mercy today.

Ha ha ha.

Two words. Unam Sanctam.

You have to submit to Pope Francis or else you’re not Catholic.

Welcome to the love Luther club, buddy!

“Those who promote errors need to be corrected and forgiven.”

In prior post you shamed me for attempting to correct Mr. Luther’s followers and promoters.

Now which is it, “correct” or “ignore the dangerous errors that lead others into perdition” (ie. “Let it go”)?

How will those in error be corrected if there is no one “uncharitable” enough (sarcasm) to correct them?

“there are Catholics here who are still fighting what took place 500 years ago. Good grief.”

Rather, there are still Catholics who (on behalf of what happened 2000 years ago on Calvary and in Jerusalem) are fighting the errors of what is taking place TODAY (thousands of Protestand sects, Vatican II anti-church, emboldened enemies of the Church) as a result of what took place 500 years ago.

It is serious sin to promote the heresy that lives today among us and is working against Christ’s true Bride. The Vatican II false shepherds occupying the Vatican are today encouraging the heresy of Mr. Luther.

You want faithful Catholics to let-go of the 500 years ago heresy? If the Vatican II anti-church is not letting go of promoting it, why should the faithful Catholic let go of condemning it?

You are hopelessly endorsing the heresy of the Vatican II wolves by what you are posting.

Also back to an earlier post, the traditional church is NOT gone. There are thousands participating in Masses celebrated as it was prior to the Vatican II wrecking ball.
That is because they recognize that non-Catholics such as “John XXIII” and “Paul VI” for example were NOT Catholic. Thus their acts are all invalid and cannot be promoted by a faithful Catholic.

And by the way, the so-called indult TLM is about to be removed by Mr. Bergoglio, so stop using that as my pacifier or security blanket which Mr. Ratzinger offered us. The Mass celebrated by faithful Catholics is not the same as the TLM that you are promoting. Very similar but is free of the illegal changes that are contained in the Vatican II-authorized TLM.

“Is the Pope Catholic?” is a valid question. And the answer is still “yes”. That is to say, if a man is not Catholic, he CANNOT and IS NOT pope. Thus there is not a living Pope presently! It can be readily proven that “John XXIII” thru “Francis” were and are not actual Catholics!

RE: Just the Vatican trying to make a buck off Luther. They sure love the money...

Are you saying that instead of selling indulgences like before, they are doing this instead?

Don’t know if these stamps are a direct replacement for indulgences, but it’s not like the Vatican has not been known for being a tad greedy in history...
