There are people on this very site who share that belief (and support the violent Hindu nationalist RSS, and organizations under its umbrella.)

Right after 9/11, I was on a double-decker bus in Hong Kong with my youngest two daughters. We sat behind a Sihk man. My youngest piped up, “Look, daddy, he has a dish-cloth wrapped around his head!”
It was an incredibly awkward moment. The Sikh man laughed and told her it was a turban. He showed her the knife that all Sikh men carry and explained why he had a beard, the turban, and the knife. He was incredibly gracious and about the incident and said it had happened before with other non-Sihk children.
Sorry, but I've been here almost as long as you have and I don't recall ANY anti-Sikh mentality. You'll have to dredge up some examples before I believe you.
