Good question dumb article. The Old Testament is really monotheism Version .5. Absent monotheism, every nation had it’s own god(s), who obviously commanded them to destroy their enemies completely. It took the conceit of the Jews as the “chosen people” to get the monotheism party started, but it’s not fully in place until Jesus. Jesus would not have commanded any nation to destroy any other.

Pretty ignorant statement, since Jesus was present at the creation of the world, He was also present when these nations were destroyed.

He also foretold the destruction of Jerusalem as a result of their rejection of Himself, an event that entailed a lot more human suffering.

God reserves the right to judge and destroy nations, even the human race. He has done it before and He has continued to do it throughout history.
