The widows mite a Pence to you,
But soon shall rise from where now it is viewed,
Humility about to rise,
Where wisdom lives and no demise,
So watch My choice begin to show,
When "others" preach a Trump to grow,
Truly this Pence shall be my choice ,
A man of God that speaks only My voice,
Luke 21:1-4Tree of Life Version
Teaching in the Temple
21 Then Yeshua looked up and saw the rich dropping their gifts into the treasury box. 2 He also saw a poor widow dropping in two small copper coins. [a] 3 And He said, Truly I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all the rest. 4 For all these put in their gifts from their surplus. But she, out of her poverty, put in all she had to live on.
The stuff about Pence and Trump are not from the Bible.
They are from Jedediah.
We all like Pence and Trump around here.
And Trump has been a man of his word and honored God in his office as president.
In what way the Bible verse you referenced relates to your poem, I can not tell. And the problem seems to be that you have chosen to post an indecipherable and mystical rant, and strayed from the simplicity and plain meaning of the Biblical passage.
Good poem by jedidah.
Good verses.
Ping; misspelled your name in earlier post.
“Good poem by jedidah.”
It’s gibberish. If there was a story behind it or explanation, it might give it some credence. As it stands, meaningless.
If a parent gets a poem or drawing from their child, they praise them. They post it on the fridge. But when the child becomes an adult, they are supposed to put away childish things. A stick figure is no longer meaningful when it does not reflect the potential skill that a little effort can produce. Instead it shows laziness, a lack of disciplined effort, and disrespect for the person who is receiving it.
“Good verses.”
Are there any other kind?
The source cited is “bible” but most of this post is just a vanity. It would be more meaningful for Christian to simply post a verse and say something he or she got out of it. Or even just say, “Hey everybody, this verse jumped out at me when I was reading today and I thought I’d share it with you.”
The poem kind of sounds like there is supposed to be some sort of favor on Mike Pence but not on Trump. Again, the words are hard to make any sense out of.
If this is supposed to be some sort of prophecy, such a claim would demean prophecy down to the level of fortune tellers and horoscopes.
Why not just say, God is real happy with Mike Pence for his faithful service?
And is there some sort of cryptic hint that Trump is headed for failure?
I don’t want any false prophets coming back and saying “I told you so.”
If any such prophecies have been posted on this forum and have EVER been fulfilled, please point them out so I can recognize that someone is speaking a word from God. Otherwise, quit pretending.
When I first saw these types of posts on the forum, I tried to keep an open mind. Others warned me what they were. And time has proven the warnings to be correct.
By the way, the passage posted is one that many “faith” (aka give-me-your-money) preachers often cite to tell others to dig deep and give to them. But that is not what this passage is about. Yes, she gave her all. But the point of the story was a condemnation of the wicked people who allowed this poor, faithful widow to be exploited.
The Old Testament said that when a person appears before the Lord, they should not come empty-handed. But it also says to take care of widows, not to rob them.
Immediately after this incident, the Lord spoke His Olivet discourse, beginning with the message that the temple they were admiring was coming down. God was NOT pleased.
Unlearner,
I stand corrected, and retract my statement about the poem.
I have a bag of those somewhere
A very cheap way to own antiquity
Yup. Not me.
It has happened before.
Here we go
+1. If this wasn’t in the religion section the first post would be “Put the bong down..”
This word is about to come to pass
very close now , Pence will be President soon
(You will never come to know that which you do not know until you first know that you do not know it.)
Thus spake Jedidiah the Prophet.
Now put a date to your “soon” prediction so we can see if you’re a false prophet or a real one.
January 20, 2025.
This is very close now in coming to pass
Impeachment Just Became Inevitable
The testimony of William Taylor confirmed that what seemed improbable just a few weeks ago is now all but certain
