I’m totally fine with being on a Warren Zevon roll today. Linda’s original version was fine too, but of course I like Zevon’s work more. This is the only Linda Ronstadt song I can even think of at the moment. I know almost all of Zevon’s tunes.
Oh heck, it looks like I got that backwards. Zevon did the first version in ‘76 and Linda borrowed it from him while he was part of her backing band.

I clicked on this title thinking it was going to be an article about Hillary Clinton. Lol.
It’s a nice one, but I like ‘Blue Bayou’ more. Always liked LR’s tunes - enjoyable if you just blank out about the politics.
She’s a lefty, but a good singer. I have seen her, Emmylou Harris, and Bonnie Raitt sing backups with Little Feat, that was something else.
