WASHINGTON, D.C., December 8, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – Three dozen corporations recently banded together to file an amicus brief in which they take a stand against religious liberty in a case now before the U.S. Supreme Court.

The case concerns Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, who declined to create a wedding cake for a gay couple because of his religious beliefs. In 2013, a lower court ruled that Phillips violated the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act. The baker was then ordered by the state's civil rights commission to create a wedding cake for a same-sex “marriage” against his will.

In 2015, the Colorado Court of Appeals upheld the decision. Then the Colorado Supreme Court refused to hear the case in July 2016. Consequently, Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), representing Phillips, asked the U.S. Supreme Court to take it up.

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case.

In the lead-up to the court hearing, 37 corporations, organized by the LGBT-promoting Human Rights Campaign, joined forces to author their brief on behalf of the gay couple who sought legal action against Phillips for his religious convictions.

Most of these corporations are well known: from Amazon, Apple and American Airlines to PayPal, Pfizer and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

379 versus 37: a precipitous drop

In 2015, in advance of the Supreme Court’s Obergefell v. Hodges case that produced the high court’s landmark decision instituting same-sex marriage across the country, 379 corporations and employers filed a joint Amicus brief supporting gay marriage.

I am very surprised that Welles Fargo Bank is not on that list.

Welles Fargo and the New York Times absolutely hate Christians. Welles Fargo lost billions when Franklin Graham sent out the alarm and had his fellow Christians withdraw all their money from that degenerate San Fransisco bank.

So..... Let’s say a group of 30 Ku Klux Klansman decide they want to fly to Atlanta to attend their national convention on American Airlines. They file down the jetway in full robes... are you telling me American Airlines would not refuse service?
