I agree with you both.
I do believe, however, that our politics should be an extension of our Christianity and we should be fully engaged in Politics as well.
Politics is part of our lives, especially in a Democratic Republic built on citizen involvement.
We cannot, and must not compartmentalize our lives in such a fashion that we refuse our to honor our responsibilities in a representative government system like ours.
Politics is a way of accomplishing goals. In this time and place it just isn’t working. Worse, it’s actually working against us and our faith. I
