They swarmed above the nativity scene, squawking and squealing for about the exact time it took for the Pope to walk from the basilica to the crèche. They then disappeared into a night sky lit up by an almost full moon. Too bad they didn't pick it apart instead -- right in front of him.

It seems like a reverse image of the heroic Reagan, the resolute Thatcher and the great Pope of the ‘80’s. What will arise to mirror the death of Communism? Or is it the Hedonism which seems to have already arrived?
