"I can not help but express the pain and the shame I feel at the irreparable damage caused to children by ministers of the Church." It is fair to ask for forgiveness and support the victims with all their strength. The first words of Pope Francis in Chile were a request for forgiveness for clerical pedophilia , and a commitment to those who have suffered at the hands of predators clad in authority. Is it enough for the victims?
It seems not. And much more after the organizers of the papal visit to Chile did not leave space for a meeting of the Pope with the victims of pedophilia, very active in their mobilizations, especially in the case of Bishop Juan Barros . A Barros who, by the way, participated in the mass in O'Higgins Park. The controversial Bishop of Osorno was seen several times during the broadcast.
Meanwhile, the community of Osorno managed to deliver a letter to Pope Francis , through the president of the lower house, Fidel Espinoza, asking him to revert the episcopal designation of Barros, considered a coverter of the abuses of Fernando Karadima.

The victims respond to the Pope: "Another cheap holder, enough forgiveness and more actions"
He’s so sorry he keeps appointing gays and pedophiles to high positions.
I have little faith that this Pope is even working to eliminate sexual predators within Catholic religious life. In fact, he seems to be going in the opposite direction than Pope Benedict who put much effort in ridding this evil from the Catholic Church. All one has to do is simply look at some of the individuals whom Pope Francis has appointed to higher positions as well as some of those he associates with.
For the first time Pope Francis goes to the square, and is booed. Not by some angry anticlerical, but by an important part of the public opinion of Chile. Catholic South American country, and cousin of Argentina that gave birth to Bergoglio. What happened? What negligence do the faithful attribute to the pope so much to protest with such vehemence?
