AMERICA Prayer Vigil, February 8, 2018 [prayer]

A belated thanks and blessing to everyone who participated in yesterday's AMERICA Prayer Vigil for the National Prayer Breakfast. If you have a half-hour over the weekend, below are links to some inspiring speeches from the program.

If you only have time for one, the 6-minute video of Rep. Steve Scalise picks up well after he began his speech, in which he described a series of miraculous events that preserved his life the day he was shot on the ball field, including that his ambulance was stuck in traffic, but a helicopter was sent to transport him to the hospital in the nick of time, since he had lost nearly all his blood. In particular, he thanks all those who prayed for him, as we did here many times at the AMERICA Prayer Vigil.
