Yes. I was an ELCA member from its inception until the 90’s when they became the abortion church. I have had so many aborted women in treatment to work through the trauma of what they had done; yet the ELCA could not care less about these damaged and wounded women.

I went to a synod convention one time, only to hear the muckymucks degrade and disparage Lutherans for Life as if they were crackpots. That was enough for me. I swam the Tiber years ago and never regretted it.

Yikes. Out of the frying pan into the fire. I hope it works for you. I don’t think returning to Rome is the answer

You do know that there are pro-life Lutheran church bodies, such as the Missouri Synod? So abortion probably wasn’t the only reason.
