Heavenly Father
As we come upon Presidents Day, may we be reminded that in time of crisis You have raised up the godly to battle the evil of the day, such as the time of the Judges:
In the life of our nation, spanning three centuries, may we remember three presidents of faith born in February, who led during times of crisis:
18th century during the Revolutionary War:
George Washington, as General in the Continental Army, never gave up during the darkest times. And with faith in the Almighty, he led the people to victory. He refused to be king, typical for conquering generals in that day, but retired to become a farmer again. Then when called, served limited terms as the first president of the United States of America.
19th century during the Civil War:
Abraham Lincoln led the Union and kept the divided nation together, abolishing slavery, calling for healing in the land. And he redefined the vision of America in the Gettysburg Address, affirming the principles of our founders and pointing to the unfinished work of those to follow to keep American ideals alive.
20th century during the Cold War:
Ronald Reagan led with conviction, during a time of malaise and self-doubt. His resolve was key to ending the Cold War and the lifting of the Iron Curtain of tyranny. And his campaign slogan Make America Great Again.
21stcentury during the Quiet War:
This day, may we lift up President Trump in the battle of the Deep State, which opposes We, the People, as it protects the elites, who feed on the forgotten man, the forgotten woman.
Grant Wisdom and courage to President Trump and Vice President Pence, and the 115th Congress. Protect them from harm on all fronts.
May Your Provident hand move in the 2018 mid-term elections. May You raised up godly judges, remove the corrupt ones.
Protect all those who put themselves in harms way to serve others, home and abroad, during the winter months and in times of crisis, such as the recent Florida school shooting. May the God of all Comfort blanket the victims and loved ones, and bring healing to body, soul, and spirit.
May cool heads prevail as we work for real solutions. May we recognize the source of violence is evil in the heart. And only Jesus can give us a new heart. And only by the power of the Holy Spirit can evil be restrained.
Revive us, again, Lord. Spark a Great Awakening among Your people. Bring healing to our divided land. May America become, again, a blessing to the world.
In Jesus Name we pray,
Amen

Psalm 130
A Song of Ascents.
1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord.
2 Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications!
3 If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities,
Lord, who could stand?
4 But there is forgiveness with you,
so that you may be revered.
5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope;
6 my soul waits for the Lord
more than those who watch for the morning,
more than those who watch for the morning.
7 O Israel, hope in the Lord!
For with the Lord there is steadfast love,
and with him is great power to redeem.
8 It is he who will redeem Israel
from all its iniquities.
Amen.
Amen
AMEN! Our survival will come by revival!

Oh Father God, we cannot measure the blessings and the mercy You have poured out upon this land. Task us to serve You, oh Lord, that we may minister to those who do not know You. Lord, let us not be found lukewarm, but let us be filled with the Fire that is Your Love, that there may be a revival upon this land.
in Jesus’ name we do pray
