Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
It seems we keep coming back to this awesome Passage from the Psalms!
No, we are not stuck in a "time-warp", it is on purpose. The Psalms are so replete with the Wonderful Names of God that we could do a Study just based on THEM...but that would leave out the Great Names in Genesis, Isaiah, and all the other great Books of the Bible. So here we go.
This Psalm, so beautifully sung in Handel's "Messiah", has a whole list of Names. Today we speak of "The Lord, Strong and Mighty". This is the God that you want beside you in Battle!
And, just in case you haven't noticed, we are in a battle, every day.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
The Greatest Of these is Love
