We should be VERY CAREFUL to not misinterpret scripture.

And we do so seriously when we omit QUALIFYING statements that PRECEDE a section that we want to use for a basis of our opinion.

The QUALIFIER in what our Lord said is this: “IF YOU ABIDE IN MY WORD, .......”

Those who do not “abide in My word” are not qualified, do not know the truth, and are not free.......

“A text taken out of context is a pretext.....”
