Question for the osteen haters:
If he takes nothing from the offering plate and keeps only the money from books,CD’s,stadium appearances,etc. and he gives ten of millions to minister to the poor, then isn’t he allowed to live well after giving 10% to God?
Must he remain middle class to earn your respect?

That’s what I’m asking: He can’t live rich if he reaches millions of people and gives 10% to God and give the entire offering plate to the poor?
For example: If he takes in 100 million/year you don’t think he should be able to keep even 2%?
He’s the pastor people are choosing to support.
What worse to u: A pastor who brings in a million/yr and keeps 10% or a pastor who brings in 150 million/yr and keeps 2%?
His apology doesn't even pass as repentance. "Might having gone a bit too far" isn't cutting it. Anyone who knowingly and unrepentantly sins, is not showing the fruit of being a Christian.
My salvation is based on Christ alone and his finished work on the cross, so I don't know what Bible you are reading from. Keeping the Commandments? Do you not know that they are impossible to keep, therefore Christ is necessary for all to believe and rely on? That is Christianity 101. If you fail that test, you are by definition, not a Christian, no matter what you hope and think you are.
No doubt you are sincere, but you are sincerely wrong.

I don’t care how rich he is. I’m more concerned about his inability to testify that Jesus Christ is the only path to salvation when he was interviewed on nationwide television.
When you stand before Jesus to get your reward, the standard you are applying to the works of others will be applied to you.
You'd think with their millions, Hinn or Osteen could go to Divinity School and even afford the best tutoring to get through it.
Neither have. Osteen dropped out of Oral Roberts where he was studying radio and tv communications and went to work for his fathers ministry.
Osteen's father who founded the Lakewood Church actually had a Doctor of Divinity from Oral Roberts.When he dropped dead, Joel appointed himself senior minister.
No thanks. God gave us the mind of Christ via the Bible in which we discern and judge all things. Hinn is a heretic.
Benny Hinn sets his faith healing to Yakety Sax. He’s okay in my book.
