There are Catholics, and there are ‘protesting’ catholics.

I grew up in a baptist church.

I now recognize that baptists (and other ‘protestants’) accept most of the gross doctrinal errors upon which the catholic church was founded.

Yeshua had no intention of creating any ‘church.’ He made that fact quite plain in the words reported in Matthew ch 5.

“Christianity” is just as man made as pharisaical Judaism, and differs only in the specific nature of the man made commandments it seeks to enforce.

Yeshua came to restore the covenant made at Sinai; not to add another fake religion to the already vast collection that had burdened his sheep.
