Only very young children could eat the offering because anyone who has been in a room with a dead body (almost everyone) is ritually impure and can only by purified by the water made with the ashes of the red heifer.
I have no problem with this.
The thought is the father to the action.

I recent watched a few videos that claimed the site of the Temple was actually in the City of David and not on the Temple Mount; the basis for the claim was that the Temple required running water and the nearest source for that was the Gihon Spring. I don't have enough knowledge of the subject judge, but I thought it was interesting because if it were true it would eliminate the problem of rebuilding the Temple in a space currently occupied by the Dome of the Rock.
You got a bible verse for that?
Christ is our passover. See 1 Corinthians 5:7. He was sacrificed outside the temple precinct. Further all Passover sacrfines are finished, now that the real passover lamb has been sacrificied. There is no longer any need for a sacrifice.
What's more in the old testament an altar of uncut stone will service as an adequate alter for any sacrificial offering. No temple is required. See Exodus 20:24,25, and Leviticus 27:5,6. Besides, God nevery asked for a temple. His instructions to Moses was for a tabernacle. Jesus is the tabernacle fulfilled.
