I did not leave my church. My church left me!

I well remember Father Fossier from my youth in South Louisiana in Larose. He was a man of integrity and honor. He was a bit over six feet tall and was a commanding presence. Your daughters and sons were perfectly safe with him. He abided nothing that was evil.

When I was older and could drink he occasionally would be in an old bar were the locals drank. It was a good bar. He never paid for a beer though he tried to pay. It was just not allowed. He was always addresses as “Father Fossier” with great respect. He would drink one or two beers then go back to his quarters at the church. He was originally from Quebec and thus spoke French and English. He was a man to be admired.

When my church cleanse itself, I will return. I will not pray in a place that condones evil. Praying at home is good. Giving your tithing to organizations that you know are good people is better than giving to a corrupt clergy.

No outside force can defeat the church of St. Peter. St. Peter’s church can be destroyed from internal corruption.

When the church returns to the standards of Father Fossier, I shall return to the Church of St. Peter.

...”No outside force can defeat the church of St. Peter. St. Peter’s church can be destroyed from internal corruption.”...

This is so sad and depressing. It seems to nearly always be true that internal corruption is the most destructive force, whether we are talking about the family, the church or the nation. It is all around us and homosexuality with the disease, the obsession of it, the jealousies, the anti-marriage, the anti-family, and anti-Christian aspects of it are proving in our day that the Holy Scriptures speak against it for, perhaps, the preservation of man/womankind itself. If you think about it, and look at the entertainment world of celebrities, including the media, academia, government and our reigning institutions, you will probably find a much greater representation of homosexuals and their pervasive ideology than their actual representation in society would indicate. Therefore, they are forcing their will on the nation and it's functioning. The forces of annihilation in America are doing their thing and we see in in the media day in and day out. When Christians who are familiar with the Holy Scriptures see this, we are not surprised, for we have been forewarned of it, and saw it demonstrated even in the behavior of the Children of Israel when they wandered in the dessert looking for the promised land. God's judgment left that dessert strewn with the bodies of those who sinned against him. And, that could happen to us when we embrace the things God condemned. It is scary to see Prostitutes and children lifted to a place of power and influence over the lives of Americans through technologies which censor out truth. All of this just boggles the mind. There is just no place for the good and the wise to hide. God will triumph over our sins and it may not be long before we see that happen, for our leaders are setting up our captivity through their lust for power day in and day out. Standing up for what is right is scary and will be punished strongly before big change comes, but, when we come to know that losing everything is not an option, then we will stand up as people have throughout history. Victory, though, will be very, very costly.
