Freedom to use normal pronouns?

Hungarian, like most or all of the other Uralic languages, has no he/she distinction.

ő = he or she
őt = him or her
etc.

What about “mother” and “father”, or do they use parent 1 and parent 2, or progenitor 1 and progenitor 2?

And are “wives” only female, or can they be male or female. And what sex is the “husband”?

And are there genders other than “male” and “female”?

Just curious...

I am half Hungarian and enjoy watching my English-speaking friends and relatives confuse he with she in sentences.

My cousin will talk about her husband and tell me that she did this or that. It is funny.

Orban needs to be replaced. He was a good leader, but he is getting long in the tooth and the nation needs fresh blood.....as long as they do not turn left towards the EU, which wants Hungary to take in the Islamic killers.

There is a big movement in Hungary to vote Orban out next week. That is good, but I am concerned about the alternatives.
