Bibles pulled from China's online bookstores as Beijing releases white paper on religious policy

Bible also to be reinterpreted and retranslated - my note.

The removal of bibles from Chinese online bookstores sparks complaints from frustrated Christians on social media as China releases a white paper on protecting freedom of religious belief...

Yesterday Chinese officials announced Beijing "has always made real efforts towards" establishing Vatican relations during a press conference to release a white paper which coincidentally outlined how religious beliefs and freedoms are protected under the country's socialist systems.

The white paper — titled China's Policies and Practices on Protecting Freedom of Religious Belief — said Chinese religious communities "should adhere to the direction of localising the religion, practice the core values of socialism, develop and expand the fine Chinese tradition and actively explore the religious thought which accords with China's national circumstances"...

According to an official document released by China's State Administration for Religious Affairs, one of the biggest tasks in the coming years is to enhance "Chinese-style Christianity" and theology by reinterpreting and retranslating the Bible.

Keeping our Brethren in China in my prayers.
They suffer greatly for Christ!

“Bible also to be reinterpreted...”

Great, so they are going to be reading about the immaculate conception of Chairman Mao, basically.

“Bible also to be reinterpreted...”

Maybe that’s what the counterfeit Pope is asking for to have Vatican relations.

So, has the Koran also been re-written and re-interpreted, as well?

Like to see that edition go international - “Mohammed Ali according to Mao”

And especially re-translated back into Arabic.

You've never seen such a thing in your lifetime? Right. Nobody's ever see this in any number of lifetimes.

This is no normal papacy. In fact --- I know a thing or two about history --- there has never been a pope like this in the 2,000 years of Catholicism. If he weren't wearing his papal robes, Francis would be easily identifiable as the #1 global opponent of the Catholic Church.

Every day there is a new assault.

He is literally running a nonstop campaign to redefine doctrine, demolish Moral Law, and now this latest, herd several million Chinese Catholic "sheep" right into the jaws of the wolves.

There's supposedly some talk among top Cardinals about figuring out a canonical way to force his abdication --- to depose him.

Catholics, non-Catholics, I ask you all: pry that this disastrous papacy may end soon.

Can I have an Amen?

And yet, when I went to see Paul, the Apostle of Christ, I saw a documentary coming out on all the good he’s doing in the world.

I agree with your stances. I am not Catholic, but I think his actions are not based on the Bible.

It’s quite sobering. I do think we’re nearing the end.

Tagline.

When Frankie's changes filter down to my parish, depending on how my priest responds or, better, does not respond to them, I will probably start attending the local Orthodox Church as there is no Eastern Rite church within a hundred miles of here. I will not "convert," but to hear the word of God I will be better off there. Orthodox and Catholic are both Original. Both go back to the Apostles. They share the same beliefs but for a couple of things that would seem to be a matter of the differences in language and the Orthodox do not depend on Rome. The Orthodox maintain orthodoxy and Tradition through the ages and presently far better than the Catholic Church as done in the last half century.

It seems right now that the trigger for such a move would be seeing certain divorced parishioners go for communion and receive.

I've repeatedly gone to my pastor, Fr. Pete, to explain my anguish over the actions of this disastrous papacy, and to get his blessing to just teach my RCIA students as I have always been taught, myself, with the Scriptures and the Catechism. He listens patiently, with comprehension, and gives me his blessing.

But he doesn't focus preaching or teaching on any of the various points now under dispute.

We're in the Mystagogy period, and I have my first session tomorrow. I wonder if anyone will show up?

And if some do, and there's an open discussion, I wonder if any of them will bring up... anything? I wonder if anyone will have noticed that the Pope and his posse are packing dynamite into the bow of the boat?

Oh the irony. I just purchased two beautiful new NIV and KJV Bibles at Sam’s Club yesterday. They were large print, red letter editions, exactly what I was looking for. They were only $15.88 with a $39.99 pre printed price on them.

The irony... THEY WERE MADE IN CHINA

We are in the Springtime of soul growth right now. These are very special times as the increase in the presence of the Holy Spirit is awakening people like the spring sun awakens the trees and flowers..(and the weeds).

The spark of God is awakening worldwide, within people. This is why the most powerful weapon against evil is prayer, it changes people within. We don’t need to go to war with China, not even a trade war. We just need to facilitate the spiritual growth of the common man(and women & children), and the problem will take care of itself.

Communist governments hate religion as they want to be the people’s religion. True religion frees people. If we merely step back and follow Jesus guidance that you will know the goodness of the tree by the fruit it bears, it is easy to see that communism, abortion, government suppression of religion, creating fear in people if they break the government’s rules..... these are all tools of evil.

I recently read an old book on Chairman Mao’s use of Sun Tzu’s “Art of War as his textbook for the Chinese revolution. It is an excellent read as it explains satan’s war strategy. It is the reason that Jesus stressed “Love God & Love Your Neighbor as Yourself.” These laws will overcome all evil as they will cause everyone to grow in the Springtime, while evil is afraid of the Light (Holy Spirit)and tries to create darkness to hide.

We are having “Global Warming,” as evil loves darkness and perceives the increased presence of God as their being in hell. They hold on to fear while we seek God’s Love that casts out fear.

It’s quite a sad irony. I have to think that if nothing changes, God is going to judge our nation for many things, and one of them is being so indifferent to things like the Chinese government’s persecution of Christians and also its oppression of its citizens, denying them justice in so many ways.
